Events

The SDC run a wide range of events across the year, from socials to rideouts and weekenders.  Check out the events page for a full schedule.

The Scottish Ducati Club was formed in early 2008. Up to that point, if you were a Ducati enthusiast in Scotland you were dependant on the UK owners’ clubs to organise events and, unfortunately, many of these events took place down south.

A small band of northern Ducati enthusiasts formed the online Ducati community of www.Ducati-Upnorth.com, which quickly became hugely popular from the north of England to the north of Scotland.

Much of the activity was in Scotland and so it was a logical step to form a Scottish Ducati Club affiliated to the factory in Bologna. The Scottish Ducati Club became an official part of the worldwide family of Desmo Owners’ Clubs in 2008.

Initial fears that the club would not attract members were quickly dispelled and the membership has continued to grow steadily.

We have monthly ride outs, social meetings, attend various events, and hold two annual weekend meetings, the Highland Fling in May and the Midgie Masher in August.

We are a friendly and sociable club of Ducati enthusiasts, operating with the minimum of formality and the maximum of enjoyment in our passion for Ducatis. Whether your interest is in racing events, ride outs, classics or just the social aspect of meeting up with friendly fellow enthusiasts it does not matter – if you love Ducati then the Scottish Ducati Club is for you

The main aim of the club is to encourage an active community of Ducati enthusiasts in Scotland, based upon an informal, sociable and democratic approach. It is a club run by the members for the members. We are still evolving and are always welcome new ideas and constructive suggestions.

Check out our events page for more information on what we are getting up to. Feel free to come along and see for yourself.
